Getting your IP

Instructions

  1. In Explorer, open your documents(or downloads) folder
  2. Right-click in the blank space, then click New -> Text Document and name it whatever you like
  3. Open it in Notepad and type ipconfig on the first line, then press [Enter] and type PAUSE on the second line.
  4. Save the file, close notepad.
  5. Click on the file and press [F2]
  6. Change the .txt at the end of the filename to .bat and press [Enter]
  7. Ignore the warning and click yes
  8. Double-click on the new .bat file you have, and it should show your IP next to ‘IPV4 Address’
